The village of Cossington lies about three miles from the M5, just to the north of the A39 road, between Bridgwater and Street.
If you come on the M5, take Exit 23 and follow the signposts to Glastonbury: follow the road for about a mile and then turn on to the A39. Then travel about 1½ miles; half a mile after a Texaco garage (on the left), turn left on the small road signposted to Cossington. After 400 yards you are in the centre of the village.
To reach St Mary's or The Manor: at the little triangle, don’t follow the main road (Middle Road) round to the right, keep left of the triangle. St Mary’s is immediately on your left: the gate to the Church Path is adjacent to the stone pillars of the Manor drive. Those with special needs can access the church via the Manor drive.
Normally you can park along Middle Road.
To reach the new Cossington Village Hall: bearing right at the triangle, pass Bell Lane and take the next left into Trivetts Way; the hall is at the top of the road, where you will find ample parking. |
