Sponsorship Opportunities

Grand pianos

Much of the Romantic and Modern era music performed at Cossington Concerts requires a piano.  None of the Polden Hills churches has a grand piano, so we have to hire one, then have it specially tuned, whenever required.  In 2007 we hired five times and on three of those occasions a sponsor came forward. For the 2010 season we will be hiring pianos on three occasions.  The cost per concert is of the order of £400.

Masterclasses

On Sunday afternoon, 28 February 2010, we are inviting Somerset students from schools throughout the region to attend, free of charge, a jazz masterclass given by the inspirational young pianist and composer Gwilym Simcock at Queen’s College Taunton.
