A Showcase of Top-level Students from Chetham’s School of Music, Manchester

including a violinist, cellist, clarinettist, singer and pianist as well as the winner of the 2008 BBC Young Musician of the Year competition, trombonist Peter Moore.

Chetham’s is a renowned, contemporary music school, offering a dynamic music programme to complement its cosmopolitan city location. With 290 students, age 8 – 18, Chetham’s is the largest music school in the UK, and is the only one based in the North of England.

Chetham’s has an award-winning reputation for its participatory arts projects and programme of work in the community, which it has developed in collaboration with major charities and national organisations.

Chets alumni include the pianist and jazz composer Gwilym Simcock, well known to Cossington Concerts audiences.
